Russian Orthodox Epiphany 2010
Moscow, Russia, 19/01/2010..An old woman cries from the cold after jumping into a frozen lake during overnight Orthodox Epiphany celebrations. Russian priests and Orthodox believers celebrated Epiphany at Svyatoye Ozero, or Holy Lake, in Moscow's eastern Kosino district. Priests blessed the waters and followers baptised themselves by total immersion in the freezing lake in temperatures of minus 24C.
