Russian Orthodox Epiphany 2011
Moscow, Russia, 18/01/2011..Two women gasp from the cold and cross themselves as Orthodox Christian believers celebrate Epiphany at a lake in eastern Moscow. Priests blessed the waters and followers baptised themselves by total immersion in the freezing lake in temperatures of minus 15C.
