Moscow Smog
Moscow, Russia, 08/08/2010. .People wear protective masks as they cross a bridge by the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour in the worst smog so far in the record high temperatures of the continuing heatwave. Peat and forest fires in the countryside surrounding Moscow have resulted in the Russian capital being blanketed in heavy smog.
