Swaffham 1 Wind Turbine Damage

Swaffham, Norfolk, 14/08/2002..Repair work on the Swaffham 1 wind turbine at the Ecotricity Ecotech Centre after the turbine was struck by lightning. The unit is the first in the UK to be damaged by a lightning strike, and equipment and workers have had to be brought from Germany to complete the repairs.
